Once again, NPR comes through with the goods. I FULLY support this building trend of giving up full streams before release dates. How else am I supposed to judge shit before it actually exists?? For real, though…September is set to be a big month for album releases and Strange Mercy is very close to the top of my list for most anticipated of the Fall. The first two singles released have been great examples to prove my theory that while all her friends thought Annie Clark was listening to Jewel, she had a secret stash of booty bass and Teddy Pendergrass in her cassette collection. (Release date Sept. 13)
