The Today’s Future Sound Crew is headed out to NYC for the Hip Hop Psychology Conference in order to teach some pro bono workshops and hit the “One Mic, One Movement” Hip Hop Psychology Conference, where CEO/Executive Director of TFS, Dr. Elliot Gann, will be presenting a paper on the therapeutic benefits of Beatmaking/DJ’ing activity groups. The crew will be doing a big pro bono workshop in the South Bronx on Sunday April 28th and we have to rent the facility out. To help fund the rental fee, the travel expenses, etc. (everyone is paying out of pocket) Phillipdrummond and TFS are putting it down like they do in the Bay with a four round Turkish Psych Rock/Funk breaks head-to-head sample flip beat battle and Hip Hop show.
